Jürgen Brokoff

Jürgen Brokoff (Prof. Dr.) works as professor of Modern German Literature at FU Berlin and as a head of project in the Collaborative Research Center "Affective Societies". After completing his dissertation and habilitation at Bonn University and working there as an interim professor, he was a Feodor-Lynen- and Alumni-Fellow supported by the Alexander-von-Humboldt-Foundation at the Universities of UC Davis, Yale and Cornell. Among his research interests are concepts of contemporary literature; literature and public opinion; literature, war, and war-crimes; history of poetic language from 18th century to present.
