If you are interested in exploring publication options with transcript, we would be happy to hear from you and learn more about your project. The most important criteria for our decision whether or not to take on a project are its programmatic fit onto our list and its academic quality. Before sending a proposal for a book or journal, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our programme and reflect to what extent your project could make a valuable contribution to it.
We only publish German- and English-language material. We do not publish bachelor’s or master’s theses. It is rare that we consider texts that have already been in print or digitally accessible elsewhere. Please do not neglect to tell us in case your material has been published in the past.
We accept proposals for monographs and edited collections across all our subject areas.
- For monographs and edited collections, please complete our book proposal form and send it to us as an e-mail attachment. Make sure that you fill in all sections of the form, and do not hesitate to add sample chapters if available.
- For a dissertation conversion, please follow the requirements laid out above for a monograph. In addition, please include a copy of your supervisors’ written evaluations of the completed dissertation.
Authors and editors of English language manuscripts should submit their proposals to our London office (email@example.com or to firstname.lastname@example.org as an e-mail attachment.
We try and respond to publication enquiries within four weeks’ time, when we will be in touch with you via e-mail with an assessment of your publication proposal.
In case we do not respond within four weeks, please contact us again to make sure that your original message has reached us.
